I hope you’ve enjoyed your lessons and learned a lot about setting up simple funnels to grow your business. In this final lesson we are going to talk about webinar and video funnels.
Have you ever heard the term evergreen? For most, the image of a great big tree comes to mind, but for internet marketers it’s a system that continuously repeats itself and can be used to generate steady sales, virtually hands free.
I like to call it set and forget marketing, because you do it once and then it just keeps going, kind of like the Energizer Bunny.
Webinar and video funnels are like the holy grail of evergreen and they make an excellent entry point into any sales funnel. They’re perfect for cultivating new leads and turning them into paying customers, that’s why so many smart business owners use them.
What makes them so attractive is their flexibility, affordability and effectiveness. All you need is your smart phone and something to talk about to get started. Of course you can get fancy if you want to with green screens and high tech equipment, but any recording device will do.
I know I may sound like a broken record here, but again it all starts with a good landing page and an optin form. Whether you’re creating a short video series or a full blown webinar you must be collecting leads.
On that page you should have a clear and compelling headline that grabs the viewers’ attention immediately, along with a list of benefits that show potential customers what they will gain by signing up.
Then wrap it up with a strong call to action that really stands out on the page and draws attention to your optin form. Keep in mind that even if what you’re offering as an enticement is free, it’s still your job to convince them that they should give you their email address and make time to watch.
When it comes to using webinars and video for lead generation it’s all about positioning yourself as an authority in the eyes of your consumer. The content you share should educate viewers and present them with the benefits of your product or service. If you can help people see how what you have to offer solves their problems, then you will see much higher conversions overall, no matter what type of funnel you use.
As we close this final lesson I would like to thank you again for joining me for this short course. I sincerely hope that you’ve learned a lot about how internet marketing funnels can help you grow your business.
