hey everyone its powder here from ting big online and in this video I’m going to show you how you can use facebook video ads for your e-commerce business so what I’m going to do in this video is I’ll show you a simple case study of one specific campaign that we run using facebook video ads so what you’re looking at right now is the final structure and this is the simple funnel that we that we use when we run this facebook video ad and we are promoting one specific product in our e-commerce business now my goal for you today is at the end of this video you would be able to go out there and here was coming from facebook if someone clicks on the video ad or someone watched the video ad and then we have the proper call to action we’re then taking them outside of facebook and we are bringing the traffic to the product page or the product review page now after the visit or go to the product page for the product review page the next step is to bring them to the add to cart and then the checkout page and then the thank you page which is where we get the money or the sale now what we’re doing here and this is what we notice or is what we discovered that some of the mistakes that people who were using facebook ads for running facebook ads because they don’t trap the behavior of their website visitors and they don’t build a retargeting audience they don’t get the success with facebook ads now the strategy that we’re using here is that for every behavior all right for every step that each website visitor takes okay we are building a retargeting audience and as you will see here that the the purple boxes represents the retargeting audience so I will break it down t to you right so what we’re doing here is we let’s say for example with the facebook video ad number one so each time someone watch the video ad okay we are building a retargeting audience and we’re not just building a retargeting audience based on their behavior or based on if they watch the video what were specifically telling Facebook is we want to build a retargeting audience for people who watch the video up to seventy-five percent okay so the reason why we’re doing this is because if you think about it if people watch your video up to seventy-five percent they’re already expressing their interests they’re already engaged so the way we do this is we build a de targeting audience and then if they watch the video up to seventy-five percent we stop showing them the facebook video ad number one so what we have is facebook video ad number two so let’s say for example that they already watch seventy-five percent of the video and they already know or they already have an idea of what the product is then we show them facebook video ad number two and facebook video ad number two is a different video it’s a completely different video compared to video number one and in video number two it can be a video that highlights or showcase the benefits of owning the product okay so it justifies and it answers the questions as to why do they need to purchase that product okay so facebook video at number one can be a product demo or product introduction and then facebook video ad number two is something that justifies why do they need to purchase that product so facebook video at number two we show it to these retargeting audience and when they watch the facebook video at number two we then send them the traffic there is a call to action and we’d say we then send them to the product page or product review page and again it goes to the linear funnel which is a add to cart checkout and thank you page now what happens then is in the background which i already discussed in the previous video each time someone visits a specific page in the website let’s say the product page or product review page okay we build re targeting audience as well and then we show them facebook video ad number two okay so it’s just a loop it it’s just going on a loop so it keeps on showing them the same ads and this is just a basic funnel that we have we can play around with this and we do have different strategies that we that we do but i’m just showing you the basic funnel of a basic facebook video ad campaign now again if they go to the add to cart but they didn’t complete the purchase we are building a retargeting audience as well and let’s say for example they go to the checkout page they didn’t complete the purchase again we’re building a retargeting audience and the strategy that we’re implementing here is if you will notice when someone watch facebook video at number two up to seventy five percent of that video we are again building a retargeting audience okay and at this point we already know that they watch facebook video ad number one up to seventy-five percent and they also watch facebook video ad number to up to seventy-five percent and that’s the retargeting audience here pretty much they’re getting close to being a buyer okay so the strategy that we are doing here or the strategy the powerful strategy that we are implementing here is that because they are close to being a buyer these retargeting audience then is being retarted with our Facebook ad number three now with facebook at number three this is completely different to the video ad one and two so Facebook ad number three is just an image posts okay so it’s just a basic image and all it says is that free shipping so because we already know that they’re getting close to being a buyer all right it will be easier to close the sale if we tell them that hey go back to the website and we are offering free shipping and that’s what we are doing and this is what’s working okay so you will see here that the retargeting audience for showing them the facebook ad number three which is a free shipping add and then we’re bringing them back to the add to cart and the checkout page so after they complete the purchase date each the tank your page and that is where we get the sale so I know it may sound complicated or it may sound okay so how does it really work what are the kind of results that we’re getting so rather than me talking about the results I will show you the some of the results that we’re getting for this specific campaign okay so right now what you’re looking at is the video campaign results are in facebook okay so this is where the facebook video ad number one comes in so we are only talking about facebook video at number one and then it goes to the linear final which is sparta page add to cart checkout and then thank you page so these are the kind of resource that we are getting right here so you will notice here that we’re not spending crazy amount of money with video campaign the reason why is facebook video ads is actually a cheap to run right it will only cause you’re on three cents for someone to view your video and these really powerful especially if you’re doing a like a product demo for e-commerce or product testimonials or product review so you will see that in this column were showing the amount spent and on the next column we’re showing the total checkout amount and a couple of campaigns that we have here and you will see that in this particular campaign we spent seven thousand seven hundred twenty-seven and the total checkout is nineteen thousand two hundred sixty which is a really good number and the ROI is two point forty nine times okay so two point five times now if we go back to the diagram okay so that’s just the facebook video at number one so again what it means is coming from facebook video at number one someone watched the video they click on the call to action they go to the product page at the card check out and then they reach the thank you page complete the purchase we got the sale now the next step is we what we have here is the facebook video retargeting ok so again what i’m showing you is let’s say for example in facebook someone watched the video at number one up to seventy-five percent we are then building a retargeting audience right here ok so what we did was because we have this retargeting audience we then have the facebook video ad number two right here and the results are this so you will see here that we only have two campaigns because it’s just a retargeting campaigns so you don’t have to spend the crazy amount of money and it’s it’s a good campaign as you will see right here so the amount spent is 248 ok and total checkout page is 953 sao roi of three 184 x so powerful stuff so that’s the strategy that we’re using and that’s the results that we are getting when we are we targeting the people who watch facebook video at number one up to seventy-five percent and we’re showing them facebook video ad number two now the next step is remember I told you that when someone watched facebook video ad number two up to seventy-five percent we are also building a retargeting audience as you can see in this purple box and then we show them facebook at number three which is free shipping so what are the resource we’re getting with this campaign so you will see here that the free shipping retargeting okay see the budget per day is only three dollars because it’s only a small audience right and in the amount spent we spent two hundred twenty seven dollars and total check out is 819 and ROI of three point six times so again if we go back to this to this basic funnel of the facebook video ad campaign it’s really powerful stuff if you will be using facebook video ads for your e-commerce business as you can see in the results that I showed you okay so I
